Gatlinburg 2010
Our Gatlinburg trip was a little different this year. We spent lots of quality time together in our wonderful cabin — due to accumulation of ice and snow on the roads during the last few nights we were there. Yep … Dixie Stamped and Peddlers Steakhouse outings were canceled. Still, we had a great time! How could you go wrong with good friends spending relaxing time together, eating, playing cards, watching some feel-good movies, and studying God’s Word together in beautiful scenery?
We did have a good time! Many thanks to those who cooked and cleaned up. The snow was beautiful. Enjoyed the hikes in the mountains with friends. Thank the Lord we made it down those mountain roads safely.
Dr. Charles was getting done on shuffling them cards. I thank we all got to know each other a little better and the Lord too … Thank goodness for friends and each other. May our lord bless us all..

Amen to thanking God for getting us down the mountain safely. Nothing like a trecherous trail to get you on your knees! Had a blast with Christian friends. I enjoyed EVERY minute of it. Had fun hiking, shotting pool, playing cards, and sitting in the hot-tub. Just enjoyed seeing God’s natural beauty! Hope to be able to do it again. P.S. Gotta watch Steve in those card games!
