Adopted Penny-Sue

We just returned from Mississippi Animal Rescue League (MARL) where we adopted a sweet little female Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. They refer to it as a cha’weenie dog. When we walked into MARL on this trip, we saw an employee filling out some paperwork on this little dog. She was in process of giving her a name (Coco) — we saw this dog and immediately fell in love with her. It was pretty much adoption on the spot. We’ve made many trips to MARL and CARA (Clinton Animal Rescue Association). We considered adoption of many dogs, but now our search is over.

Penny-Sue’s story.

Little Penny-Sue was found in a foreclosed home in Pelahatchie, Ms. MARLA has had this little dog for a week. Penny-Sue is between 5 to 6 years old — close to the same age and size as Ethan. Now Ethan will have a buddy to pal around with.
